Payroll Deductions for Imagination Library The Jackson-Madison County Education Association and the Jackson-Madison County School System would like to encourage all employees to contribute to the Imagination Library. Imagination Library was created in 1996 by Dolly Parton in Sevierville, Tennessee, and has spread statewide. The cost of providing the program to Tennessee's children is $28 per child, per year. This cost is split evenly between the non-profit sponsoring organization in each county and the Governor’s Books from Birth Foundation. Each employee decides how much he/she would like deducted from his/her paycheck. Even $1 per paycheck will help one child for an entire year. All funds raised in Madison County stay in Madison County and help provide a book a month for all children from birth to the age of five (5). Please take part in this effort to help the children of Madison County build reading readiness before they ever reach us at school. Imagination Library Donation Form
