East Elementary will have a new leader when the 2019-2020 school year begins in August. Beginning her seventh year in the district, Amanda Brabham is honored to join the East family.
After two full years of using Eureka Math curriculum in all schools, the majority of JMCSS elementary students are improving their math skills at a rate faster than the national average.
Thanks to the L.E.A.D.S. Grant Program, JCT students participated in the Be Kind Challenge, which encouraged them to be kind to each other and spread kindness to members of the Jackson community.

In 2016, our Jackson-Madison County Schools are home to over 13,000 students that speak over 17 languages from very diverse backgrounds. Our district is home to nine elementary schools, three K-8 schools, four middle schools, three traditional high schools, one magnet high school and one early college high school.
