Jackson Career & Technology
Jackson Careers and Technology School was constructed on the site once home to Jackson Middle School. Jackson Middle School was damaged by a tornado in May 2003. In its place, Jackson Careers and Technology Magnet School was built as an Intermediate School which contained 5th and 6th grades. JCT later became an elementary school.
Today, Jackson Careers and Technology School is home to 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade students and partners with Isaac Lane Elementary K-3 to form a K-8 campus. It is the goal of JCT for each student to experience academic growth and success in order to become lifelong learners and contributing members of society.
The mission of Jackson Careers and Technology is to provide an education program that builds solid academic foundations and trusting relationships in a challenging yet non-threatening learning environment where successes are acknowledged and each students unique academic, physical, social and emotional needs are met.
