Our qualified, caring teachers offer personal attention to help ensure students are College Prepared, Job Ready, or Military Bound. Students quickly become a part of our Liberty Tech family, and parent involvement is a priority. Liberty Tech’s traditions of academic and athletic excellence, combined with its friendly, caring atmosphere, make it a premier school. Liberty Tech is large enough to provide diverse opportunities, but small enough to know students personally and meet individual needs.

    Jackson Exchange Club honors Liberty Senior

    Liberty Technology Magnet High School senior, Kyle Bartlett, was honored by the Jackson Exchange Club with the “A.C.E. Award.”  A.C.E. stands for Accepting the Challenge of Excellence and recognizes a student who overcomes an obstacle to succeed.  Bartlett has a mild form of cerebral palsy but has never let his diagnosis stop his success.  He has already set his sights on attending the Tennessee College of Applied Technology after graduation. Bartlett received a certificate and $100 and is eligible for a state and national scholarship as well. Kyle was nominated for this honor by his guidance counselor, Jaime Grammer.

    Liberty's Own Karen Henning Inducted Into WTSBOA Hall Of Fame

    Liberty Tech's own Karen Henning was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award and induction into the West Tennessee School Band and Orchestra Association's (WTSBOA) Hall Of Fame on Saturday, February 11th. The ceremony was held in Memphis, Tennesse at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts. Mrs. Henning served as the Band Director here at Liberty from the school's inception in 2003 through the 2013/2014 school year. For the past two years she has served as the school's Data Coach and Testing Coordinator. View more here.

    Liberty To Play For Title Friday

    The Liberty Tech Crusaders defeated Christ Presbyterian Academy by a score of 33-20 Friday night to secure a spot in the Class 3A state championship game. View more here.

    Liberty Tech's Crusaders (11-2) are one game away from a shot at the Class 3A State Championship. The Crusaders rallyed from being down 21 points at the half to defeat Dyersburg last Friday night by a single point, 36-35! View more here.

    Welcome to Jackson, Tennessee! Home of Blue Suede Shoes, Rockabilly and great barbecue! Also, Jackson is home to the Jackson-Madison County School System. In 2016, our Jackson-Madison County Schools are home to over 13,000 students that speak over 17 languages from very diverse backgrounds. Our district is home to nine elementary schools, three K-8 schools, four middle schools, three traditional high schools, one magnet high school and one early college high school.

    Additionally, our district is also home to one Pre-K Center for the youngest citizens ages 2-4. Spend time visiting our school websites to see the unique educational offerings each school provides to the students of the Jackson-Madison County area.
