    Announcements for Everyone   

    • The Womanless Beauty Review is March 25 at 6pm in the East Campus Gym.  Tickets to watch the Womanless Beauty Review are $5 and will be available at the door.
    • If you are interested in taking the ASVAB test on March 29, see Mrs. Sherrod on Tech Prep ASAP.  Even if you took the test in the fall, you may still register for this test.

    • LAST DAY==MARCH 24!  The Beta Club is selling "Kiss A Senior Goodbye" notes for $1.  Each kiss will consist of a set of chocolate lips with a note that can be personalized.  If you have friends or family graduating in May, let them know how proud you are by purchasing a "kiss" and writing them a special note.  They will be delivered on May 10 at graduation practice.  Purchase in the library with Mrs. Parnell, in 11E with Mr. Griffin, or in 2W with Mrs. Steen. 

    • Beta Club NEW members:  If you did not attend the induction ceremony, see Mrs. Parnell in the library to pick up your certificate and Beta pin.  

    • If you signed up to help clean the Jackson Sportsplex this weekend, watch the Beta REMIND for any news.  

    • In tennis action on Thursday, March 23: congratulations to Cadye Long who won her match 8-6 and Ella Hallet who won her match 6-0 in singles play.  Danielle Parish and Cadye Long won their doubles match 8-3, Kaitlyn Edwards and Kenzie Brittian won their doubles match 6-2, and Keara Herrod and Kaeley Parish won their doubles match 6-4.  Go Hawks!  
        
    • UT-Martin is offering a one-day ACT Prep Class to help students get ready to do their best on this test.  Visit their site for dates, times, and locations. 

    • Congrats to alumnus A.J. Merriweather!  Check out the news!

     

    Announcements for the Senior Class of 2017

    • Please read this VERY IMPORTANT information from Mrs. Perry regarding prom, Cap & Gown, Senior Exams, Awards Day, and Graduation.

    • Your MANDATORY meeting for TN Promise will be held Monday, April 10 at 5:30pm in the East Campus cafeteria.  Missing due to work or practice will not be excused.  Parents are welcome to attend but can NOT attend in place of a student.

    • Prom tickets are available in Mrs. Perry's room.  Prices are listed beside her door in the Tech Prep Building.  Remember, you must pay in cash, checks will not be accepted. 

    • If you have been awarded any scholarship money, Mrs. Freeman needs this information ASAP.

    • The Class of 2017 is creating a senior class video!  If you would like to be in the video, send in your favorite memories, from elementary school to today, baby photos, and other like items to sshsseniorclass17@gmail.com.

    • ALL community service hours for TN Scholars and the Community Service medallion are due to Mrs. Freeman by April 7!  

    • See student services for applications to various scholarship opportunities!

    • Please bring a copy of your college acceptance letters by Student Services (guidance) for recognition of this exciting milestone!

    Welcome to Jackson, Tennessee! Home of Blue Suede Shoes, Rockabilly and great barbecue! Also, Jackson is home to the Jackson-Madison County School System. In 2016, our Jackson-Madison County Schools are home to over 13,000 students that speak over 17 languages from very diverse backgrounds. Our district is home to nine elementary schools, three K-8 schools, four middle schools, three traditional high schools, one magnet high school and one early college high school.

    Additionally, our district is also home to one Pre-K Center for the youngest citizens ages 2-4. Spend time visiting our school websites to see the unique educational offerings each school provides to the students of the Jackson-Madison County area.
