Welcome to Thelma Barker!

  • Here at Thelma Barker Elementary, we are home to a diverse student population. We have one of the largest ESL student populations in the district. Because of our diversity, we take time to celebrate our students' cultural heritages and backgrounds.

Our students are the heart of our school and drive the decisions we make on a daily basis. We have a phenomenal team of teachers at Barker, including teachers certified in K-5th grade as well as Special Education, library, music, art, P.E., and English as a Second Language (ESL). In addition to our teachers, our support staff work hard to support the success of our students every day.
