    The online application for Pre-K is now available (click here). The in-person registration event originally scheduled for March 24-27 has been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later time.

  • Latest Facts about COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

    All JMCSS updates regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus) and related closures will be updated here. In order to best assist JMCSS families, we are collaborating with the local health department and the state of Tennessee to spread awareness regarding COVID-19 and prevention. You can also call the TN Department of Health public information line at 877-857-2945.

    According to the CDC, the best way to prevent illness is to prevent being exposed to this virus. Steps you can take include washing your hands often and avoiding close contact with people who are sick. For more information, visit www.cdc.gov/coronavirus.

  • Code of Conduct Policy

    A new Code of Conduct policy (Board policy 6.300) has been adopted. All students received a hard copy on Monday, March 2nd. This policy includes both in-school discipline as well as bus discipline.

    Welcome to Jackson, Tennessee! Home of Blue Suede Shoes, Rockabilly and great barbecue! Also, Jackson is home to the Jackson-Madison County School System. In 2016, our Jackson-Madison County Schools are home to over 13,000 students that speak over 17 languages from very diverse backgrounds. Our district is home to nine elementary schools, three K-8 schools, four middle schools, three traditional high schools, one magnet high school and one early college high school.

    Additionally, our district is also home to one Pre-K Center for the youngest citizens ages 2-4. Spend time visiting our school websites to see the unique educational offerings each school provides to the students of the Jackson-Madison County area.
