Welcome to Alexander Elemetary where you will find educators who invest in your students with directed teaching and hands-on, concrete experiences. At Alexander, our faculty truly believes that each child is important. We believe that all children can and will learn, when given the right amount of time and practice.
We believe that the most successful children are those whose families play an active role in their education. We are all in this together!

AT&T Believe Tennessee Gifts Supplies for Students
Alexander Elementary was thrilled to receive school supplies for every student through the generosity of the AT&T Believe Tennessee Grant Program.
Representative Johnny Shaw and Mayor Scott Conger were on hand for the presentation.
Students received school supplies, hats and gloves and a yummy snack!
Dress Code Reminder
Remember, students can only wear khaki, navy blue, or black pants. Jeans or pants with large pockets are not allowed. Skirts and jumpers must be the same colors as the pants. The policy states that skirts or jumpers should be knee length. Skirts that are too short will not be allowed without leggings. Students are required to wear a black or brown belt daily. Shirt colors are white, royal blue, or black polo style shirts, with no emblems.
Welcome to Jackson, Tennessee! Home of Blue Suede Shoes, Rockabilly and great barbecue! Also, Jackson is home to the Jackson-Madison County School System. In 2016, our Jackson-Madison County Schools are home to over 13,000 students that speak over 17 languages from very diverse backgrounds. Our district is home to nine elementary schools, three K-8 schools, four middle schools, three traditional high schools, one magnet high school and one early college high school.
Additionally, our district is also home to one Pre-K Center for the youngest citizens ages 2-4. Spend time visiting our school websites to see the unique educational offerings each school provides to the students of the Jackson-Madison County area.
