• Department Overview

The Career and Technical Education department supervises CTE programs across the district which seek to provide the knowledge and skills that a student would need to be successful whether entering the workforce directly or post-secondary experience after high school. Because we value the education and success of our students, we offer a wide variety of career and technical coursework in addition to opportunities throughout the district to earn Industry Certifications in various areas as well as post-secondary credit during their high school career. We currently have 51 state approved Programs of Study at five (5) high schools as well as STEM classes at five (5) middle schools and teen living classes at three (3) middle schools throughout the county that fall under 13 state-approved Career Clusters.
