Troubleshoot an Office365 Student Account
First, check PowerSchool and make sure the student’s email address is entered properly in the Student Email field (under demographics). If it is entered correctly but the student is not syncing, then put in a ticket to Help Desk at https://jacksonmadisoncs.gethelphss.com or email helpdesk@jmcss.org.

Access a blocked website
A firewall is a security system for our internet network that helps monitor traffic to ensure we are keeping our students and staff safe from dangerous, insecure, and inappropriate content.
This filter is now be applied on all district devices, regardless of what network you connect to. This means that you will no longer be able to use a district-owned device for personal tasks (Facebook, personal email, watching Netflix, etc.) even if you are on your home Wi-Fi network. Sites will be filtered across all networks just like they have been at school. As a reminder, per our responsible use policy, all technology access provided by JMCSS is intended for educational purposes.
If you believe a site is incorrectly categorized and should not be blocked (i.e. is for educational use and needed for the classroom or your scope of work), you will be able to submit this to the Academics department for review on the block page that appears when trying to access the site.

Locate or generate my copy code
Go to Papercut and login with district credentials.
On the summary page, you will see "Card/ID number" under your name. Click "show" to show your number.
To generate a new number (if nothing is listed), click on "Change Details" from the left menu, then click "Generate Number."

Reset my existing PowerSchool password
Log in to PowerSchool, then click on Personalize on the left side of the screen. Click on "Change Password." It will then prompt you to enter your new password and create the new one.
