This initiative is part of the National Campaign to Stop Violence.  Do the Write Thing (DtWT), has given middle school students a platform to share their experiences with and insights about youth violence and the many different forms it takes.

Through writing, students can increase awareness and leverage the power of their voices, to reduce violence in their homes, schools, and communities.
