Ms. Mia Neely - Assistant Principal
Greetings West Bemis! I am Mia Mishann Neely. I grew up in Whiteville, TN in Hardeman County and I am a 1997 graduate of Bolivar Central High School. I graduated from Lambuth University with a B.S in K-8 elementary education in 2002. I attended Union University where I received my Master's in Education in 2005 and my Education Specialist Degree in administration and supervision in 2007.
Over the past 17 years, I have worked as a 1st and 2nd grade teacher, instructional coach, and a Read to be Ready facilitator/monitor with the state. Most of my career was spent at Arlington Elementary in Jackson. I taught grades 1st and 2nd at Arlington before I became the Instructional Coach at Arlington Elementary in 2008. After deciding to leave Arlington, I went to work at Stigall Primary school, in Humboldt, as their instructional coach. I was previously one of the assistant principals at Thelma Barker Elementary in Jackson.
