Today we’re visiting with Shannon Davis - Principal of Alexander Elementary School…we’ll discuss innovative steps Principal Davis and her team are taking to increase academic growth and leadership opportunities among the student body at Alexander - Also, Evette Nesbitt, a member of our district’s family support team will tell us how Leaders Credit Union and other community partners are assisting families in need this holiday season.

This week, we’re visiting with Kristy White, Districtwide Coordinator for Fine Arts (Music). We'll recap the first semester of activity in the Fine Arts - covering marching band, choir, theater and more! Did you know there are more than 80 fine arts programs across the district?!

This week we are visiting with a number of students and district leaders to get you up to date on a number of activities taking place this month. We’ll discuss the district - family fun/ movie night, visit with student interns working with our communications team, plus - we have information on the Taste of Liberty Holiday orders. Yes, that’s right - the culinary students at Liberty Tech can prepare your holiday meals for you.

This week, we’re visiting with Dr. Tiffany Green, principal at Rose Hill School here in Jackson. We discuss her efforts to increase learning opportunities for students at the Prek-8 Schools. She’ll also tell us about her experience as a leader and administrator in the Jackson-Madison County School System - plus details of Rose Hill’s standing as a Level 4 school.

This week, we’re visiting with Jordan Taylor, a 2016 graduate of South Side High School who’s involved in marketing and sports broadcasting for Forever Communications. We’ll discuss his experience as a student in the Jackson-Madison County School System, and his efforts now to assist JMCSS in promoting academics, athletics and the arts in Jackson-Madison County Schools.

This week, we talk with members of our Family Support team: Rhonda Heard, Director of Social & Behavioral Services & Angela Searcy, Parent Involvement Coordinator, visited for episode 41. Important details concerning events and support services will be shared.

This week we’re visiting Madison Academic! English teacher Sara Billingsley, Class president Ximena Acosta and Governors School alumna Beth Myers discuss the upcoming 20th Year Celebration as well as Madison’s Top 10 schools in the state of Tennessee and Level 5 status.

This week, we talk with JCM head football coach Erit Turner and new South Side head coach Lester Narcisse. The 2023 football season is here, and we’ll talk to the coaches about their preparation and expectations for the season. And we’ll run down the schedules for JCM and South Side.
