Feedback on the 2026-2027 academic calendar draft

Jackson-Madison County Schools has released the draft calendar for the 2026–2027 school year and is inviting students, parents, staff, and community members to review the proposal and share their feedback. 

Each year, district leaders work closely with administrators, teachers, parents, business leaders, and community representatives to create a schedule that supports student success and reflects the needs of families and staff. Feedback gathered through the public comment period plays an important role in shaping the final calendar.
