Teaching Students the Marketability of Storytelling

The Madison Humanities Innovation Institute created a series of writing workshops centered on the marketability of storytelling. Using a Student Executive Council Model, students lead classmates in the areas of content writing, cover art, marketing, web development, and videography as they work to produce a printed publication.

The Humanities faculty and student executive team took an inspiration trip to visit The Sewanee Review, the oldest quarterly publication in the U.S. since 1892. While there they were able to speak with the head editor of The Sewanee Review and writer, Adam Ross.
