Welcome to Remote Learning!
As a country, we have embarked on a huge new educational journey. While none of us could have predicted that we would launch this dramatic new transition in education, our dedicated and hardworking teachers have come together to teach your children from their own homes. In addition, we could not be more grateful to all of you for your patience during this time. Below you will find our transition plan to remote learning educational resources. This transition is a work in progress and we are trying our best to support the needs of all our students during this challenging time. We are also aware that nothing can ever replace a talented teacher in a classroom. There are many challenges and inequities our students face and that’s why the teachers and staff at Andrew Jackson Elementary School will continue to have “High Expectations” for our students. Our teachers have worked diligently to create lesson plans for your child/ren up until April 24, 2020. If you are in need of any assistance with academic work for your child, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher. They will be available to discuss academic work each day from the hours of 9:00-11:00 a.m. Thank you in advance for being a supportive parent and assisting your child with the required work that is expected for them to complete each week. We are in this together!
