• Great news! Next Wednesday and Thursday (20th & 21st) from 10:00-2:00 we will be distributing yearbooks, school photos, and report cards. Our staff will be set up at the front doors for walk-up service. Please keep social distancing in mind and take precautions to protect yourselves and others. See you next week!

     

    Please help get the word out. We have set up times for students to pick up their belongings from their lockers. Those times are listed below. If you do not need to retrieve belongings, please do not come to the school during this time. Meal service will continue as usual during this time. With the safety of our students and staff in mind, and in order to minimize the possibility of spreading Coronavirus to others, please keep these guidelines in mind:

    1. Students will enter through the front entrance. Please be conscious of social distancing guidelines while waiting outside. A line with students 6 feet apart should begin at the indicated place under the front awning. When called to come in, check in with staff member located in the lobby before going to designated hall

    2. We will allow five students on the hall at any given time.

    3. There will be boxes marked with 6th, 7th, and 8th grade, and also library in the front lobby. Please return any finished packets to the appropriate grade level box and library books to the library box.

    4. One student allowed per locker.

    5. As students leave the hall, we will radio the front entrance for more students to come.

    6. 8th grade and 7th grade students will leave the building through the end doors by the gym when finished retrieving belongings from lockers. 6th grade students will leave through the cafeteria end doors.

    7. There will be no loitering in the building. Classroom doors will be locked and restrooms will be closed. Please take only enough time to gather belongings from lockers and head back out.

    Directions for Accessing Student Email:

    • In the address bar of your internet browser, type "portal.office.com"
    • Sign In: firstname.lastname@students.jmcss.org
    • Password: first initial capitalized, last initial lowercase followed by your student ID (this can be found near the top of the screen in student or parent PowerSchool). For example:  Ny4756325
    • Click on the "Outlook" tile, set the time zone if asked (Central Time U.S. and Canada) and click save

     

    Directions for Logging In to i-Ready through Clever

    • In the address bar of your internet browser, type "clever.com/in/jmcss"
    • Click on "Log in with Active Directory"
    • Sign In: firstname.lastname@students.jmcss.org
    • Password:  first initial capitalized, last initial lowercase followed by your student ID (this can be found near the top of the screen in student or parent PowerSchool). For example:  Sw8463089
    • Once logged into Clever, there will be an icon for i-Ready under "Instant Login Applications"

     

    Directions for Obtaining Username or Resetting Password in Parent PowerSchool Account:

    • In the address bar of your internet browser, type: jmcss.powerschool.com/public/
    • Click on "Forgot Username or Password?" and follow directions to obtain username or reset password
    • If you are unsuccessful, email Mrs. Yarbrough (nryarbrough@jmcss.org) and she will send you your username.  Then you can use the Forgot Username or Password link to reset your password.
    • Student Accounts have to be reset by Mrs. Yarbrough.
