  • The Jackson-Madison County School System is committed to offering STEM and computer science (CS) opportunities to all of our students. Thanks to partnerships with organizations such as TSIN (Tennessee STEM Innovation Network), the West TN STEM Hub, REC Foundation, and Code.org, JMCSS faculty and students have access to instructional resources, professional learning opportunities, competitive STEM / CS events, and so much more!

Congratulations to JCT and Rose Hill School for being selected into the 2023-2024 TSIN Innovative Leaders Institute. Additionally, congratulations to Madison Academic's robotics team for advancing two robots to the 2024 Tennessee VEX VRC State Championship as first-year competitors. We are also proud to have Greenpower USA middle school teams from Community Montessori, Rose Hill, North Parkway, and JASA racing the electric cars they have built at the 2024 F24 Greenpower National Championship at the Talladega Superspeedway. Our JASA rockets eSports team has also received an invitation to compete in the 2024 EGF National Championship in Orlando, FL. We are excited to see JMCSS administrators and teachers expand learning opportunities for our students!
