• Rose Hill School is proud to have Greenpower USA available for all scholars in grades 6-8. According to the official Greenpower USA website, the goal of Greenpower is "to advance the understanding of STEM topics and inspire innovation in young people through the immersive experience of designing, building, and racing electric-powered vehicles." Scholars try out for the team in August and enjoy participating in races in the fall and spring. Scholars work together to build, modify, and race the car around a track as many times as possible within a 90 minute "heat." Scholars must also submit a presentation documenting how the Engineering Design Process assisted in the build and test of their car. Catch the Rose Hill Racing team at the link below, and as we prepare for our upcoming race on March 22nd in Tanner, Alabama! For more information about Greenpower USA and Rose Hill Racing, please contact Coach Whitney Hogg at wnhogg@jmcss.org .
