Our school colors are maroon, black, white, and gray. Our mascot is the Raiders!
Community Partners
Here at Rose Hill, we are proud to have the Rose Hill Industry Advisory Board. Our board members include representatives from Jackson State Community College, the Jackson-Madison County Library, and West TN Healthcare. We have many community partners who have assisted us with consultation for our project/problem-based learning units, provided feedback to students on their projects, and donated time and resources to give our scholars work-based learning experiences.
History
Rose Hill School is a Pre-K - 8th-grade school led by Dr. Tiffany S. Green. In the JMCSS Vision 2020 initiative, Rose Hill Middle School incorporated students from Beech Bluff Elementary School, Nova Elementary, and South Elementary to create a true community school beginning in the 2016-2017 school year.
Rose Hill School provides students with high-expectation academics along with outstanding STEM activities, arts, and athletics programs. An important part of the development of young people comes from their participation in a variety of activities. We encourage all scholars at Rose Hill School to take advantage of the social experiences available in the wide variety of interests represented in the activities and athletics of our school. Rose Hill Raiders are ready for excellence in fine arts (Choir, Band, Art), STEM (Greenpower, eSports, VEX Robotics, Career Exposure), athletics (football, basketball, baseball, cross country, volleyball, softball), leadership (BETA Club, Book Squad, Raider Club, Student Council), and rigorous academic opportunities, supported by design thinking and project-based learning.
