School Day Information
Our school hours are 8:15 a.m. and ends at 3:15 p.m. Our doors open at 7:45, and students are dismissed to class at 8:00. Breakfast is served in the classroom, and all scholars begin the day with a Do Now to ensure they are focused and ready to learn. The National Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance, and morning announcements will start promptly at 8:30 a.m. Dismissal begins with afternoon announcements at 3:05 p.m.
Dress Code
All students, PreK-8th, are required to adhere to the JMCSS dress code policy. Scholars are required to wear maroon, black, or white polo-style shirts with collars and khaki, navy blue, or black bottoms. A black or brown belt is required for all garments with belt loops for students in grades 1st-8th. Coats, jackets, or sweaters worn inside the building must be solid maroon, black, gray, or white and must not have a hood. There are no guidelines for coats worn outside the building.
