Dr. Tiffany Green
The Jackson-Madison County School System has adopted a Human Capital approach to provide quality educators to best serve our students. It is our goal to provide a framework that supports the selection, development and retention of the most effective teachers and leaders for our district. As Director of Human Capital, Dr. Tiffany Green is responsible for the promotion of policies and practices that ensure the District has the best talent management department possible to meet the needs of the District, including the oversight of the Human Capital Department as it relates to recruitment, staff on boarding, and labor relations.
Dr. Green graduated from Gibson County High School. She earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin and went on to receive her Master of Education from Trevecca Nazarene University. She holds a teaching certification in early childhood education and is a licensed professional PreK-12 school administrator. Dr. Green earned her Doctorate in Leadership and Professional Practice from Trevecca Nazarene University.
Dr. Green spent eight years in the classroom before serving as principal of Whitehall Pre-K Center. She began her work at the Central Office in the Human Capital Department in January 2015.
Dr. Green is married and the mother of two students who attend school in JMCSS.
