JMCSS LOOP 4.0

Apply Now for the LOOP 4.0 Program at JMCSS

Thank you for your interest in the LOOP program for the JMCSS LOOP "Grow Your Own" initiative! This program is a unique work-based learning opportunity where students are provided school credit for completing a paid work-based learning opportunity at a local industry partner's manufacturing facility.

Requirements for LOOP in the Jackson-Madison County Schools:
  • Students will need to work closely with your school counselor to change their schedule and add the W.B.L. class for this opportunity.
  • Students must be at least 17 years old before the start date. Some placements require students to be at least 18 years old by the start date.
  • Complete a background check.
  • Complete an employment physical and drug test (blood, hair follicle, and/or urine test).
  • Provide 2 acceptable forms of I.D.

Additional information will be provided to students who are selected for an interview. Students will be notified of their invitation to interview for LOOP via their school email address.

Please contact Mr. Nicholas Harris (njharris@jmcss.org) with any questions regarding LOOP or application deadlines.

Students may only apply for a JMCSS LOOP placement in maintenance, transportation, nutrition, clerical, or educational assistant. Students will complete a JMCSS Human Captial application for these LOOP placements.
