Arlington’s 2020 Black History program began with the dance team performing to “Ease on Down the Road.” Many students sang songs with their grade levels, while others were a part of Ms. Jordan’s choir. All voices sounded good and many were like angels singing. Students participated in the Wax Museum as a famous or important African American. Mr. Nathan Pride gave a motivational speech to students. We also had the North Parkway Middle School to sing for us. The dance team ended the program with a “Praise Dance.” Thanks to everyone that participated and planned for this special program. All students enjoyed watching and learning about history. A special thanks to Mrs. Ivery and her team for organizing this marvelous event!
