United Way Gives to Alexander's Physical Education Program

PE teacher Maggie Chandler wanted to add a little something extra to the physical education program at Alexander. She found an active learning program called PowerUp Your School and the United Way agreed to sponsor the program that provides physical activity paired with academic learning standards. Bringing together learning and physical activity, the PowerUp program has students exercising both their bodies and their minds!
