Ashley (Vinson) Tomlin Named Rose Hill Teacher of the Year 19-20!!
Rose Hill Announces Their Teacher of the Year!
Ashley (Vinson) Tomlin has been chosen as the Teacher of the Year at Rose Hill School. Ms. Ashley has been at Rose Hill for 5 years and teaches the YES class.
“Miss Ashley” is a 2002 honors graduate of University of Tennessee at Martin with a degree in Special Education k-12. She began her teaching career at West Carroll, which is also her alma mater. She transferred to JMCSS in 2015. She is currently in her 18th year of teaching Special Education and she says she loves the everyday challenges of the job.
Her goal in life is to know that she has made a difference in the world. She wants to be remembered by her students, especially for them to never doubt how much she loved them.
Ashley is married to her wonderful husband, Bradley. They have been married 2.5 years and have 2 children, Jagger (10 years) and Charlotte (16 months). She says her family means the world to her. They love to travel, seeking new adventures every opportunity that they get. She adds that they have a family bucket list and are busy marking off adventures.
Elected by her peers, she will represent Rose Hill at the District level evaluation. We know she will shine among (and above!) teachers from other Jackson Madison County school and represent Rose Hill well. We wish her the best and we are very proud of you!
