A Vision is Realized as First Graduating Class from JCM Early College High Receives Associates Degrees

After four years of hard work, seventeen JCM Early College High students graduated from Jackson State Community College on Saturday, May 4, 2019, two weeks before receiving their high school diplomas. These students, part of the first graduating class of JCM Early College High School, will graduate JMCSS ready for additional options and opportunities thanks to their Associates degrees from Jackson State.

“May 4th, 2019 will be a day I will remember as a vision realized,” said JCM ECH Principal Nathan Lewis. “Four years of dedication, growth, and encouragement led ultimately to triumph... They overcame challenges both personally and academically to achieve this monumental task. I am so proud of their accomplishments. They have set the stage for those who follow in their footsteps.”
