TSBA Honors JMCSS Student and Volunteer at District Meeting

Congratulations to South Side High School senior Katie Collins for being honored at the Tennessee School Boards Association (TSBA) Southwest Student Recognition Award!  

 

Additionally, Jackson-Madison County volunteer Marlene Kee was honored with the Southwest School Volunteer Award.

 

Both of these awards were presented at the TSBA Fall District Meeting on Thursday, September 12th. Student Katie Collins is now eligible to enter the contest for a statewide award which comes with a scholarship and a plaque. Marlene Kee is also eligible for the statewide award for volunteers which comes with a $1,000 grant to the public school of her choice. JMCSS congratulates both winners for their well-deserved awards!
