Jackson, Tennessee - Makayla Haith, a student at Liberty Technology Magnet High School, has been honored for her exemplary volunteer work by receiving the President’s Volunteer Service Award.
The award is given by the Prudential Spirit of Community Service Awards program in order to recognize Americans who have volunteered significant amounts of time to their communities. Makayla was nominated by Liberty Tech for her volunteer service. Makayla has been involved with numerous community service projects.
For the past 25 years, the Prudential Community Service Awards have recognized middle and high school students across the nation for their outstanding community service. The award is sponsored by Prudential Financial in partnership with the National Association of Secondary School Principals.
“We are extremely proud of what Makayla has accomplished in her time here at Liberty,” according to Mr. James Barnett, Principal at Liberty Tech. “She is an exemplary student and we celebrate this recognition with her. We know she has a bright future ahead of her.”
