TDOE Partnership with PBS to Deliver Daily Instructional Content for Tennessee Students
The Tennessee Department of Education secured a partnership with the state’s PBS stations to deliver daily instructional content for Tennessee students during COVID-19 school closures. This partnership will provide all students with access to daily learning opportunities right in their own homes.
Staring April 6, West TN PBS (WLJT 11.1) will deliver two hours of programming with high-quality instructional content from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. CST. Four hours of content will also be streamed overnight, which viewers can watch live or record. Click here for more information.
The content has been created to ensure all students have access to high-quality learning opportunities, regardless if their home has internet connectivity or capable devices.

Additionally, JMCSS has provided online and print options for student work for the coming days. At minimum, K-8 students should use iReady packets provided by their individual schools this week while students in 9th-12th grades will have packets beginning Monday, April 6, 2020. Additional material may be provided at each school by individual teachers and online options are also available. Please contact your school for more information regarding pickup and resources.
