Several members of the JASA FFA chapter spent last week at FFA Leadership Camp at Camp Clements, where they represented the school with outstanding leadership, talent, and sportsmanship.
The week included several standout moments. River qualified for the camp’s Quiz Contest and took the stage solo to answer FFA questions in front of the entire camp—an impressive display of confidence and preparation. Mason organized and led an evening worship service during free time each night, drawing more than 60 campers to each gathering.
In team events, Jimmy, Neila, River, and Mason represented JASA in QuizBowl competition, demonstrating quick thinking and collaboration. Destiny showcased her creativity and courage by performing in the camp talent show.
At the rifle range, Mason and Rylee earned HotShot honors, finishing the week with the highest overall scores among all campers—a notable achievement in one of the camp’s most competitive activities.
JASA FFA leaders said they were proud of the students’ willingness to step outside their comfort zones and embrace new challenges. Their participation reflected the chapter’s commitment to leadership development, character building, and representing their school with integrity.
