You could say love has brought North Side High School’s new band director to the Jackson-Madison County School System – his love for music, of course, but also his bride-to-be. Jared Nobles has been hired by Principal Jason Bridgeman as North Side’s Director of Bands.
During the upcoming school year, along with teaching his lower elementary class at Community Montessori School, Ontoni Reedy will help shape education policy for the state of Tennessee.
The Crusaders of Liberty Tech have a new head boys’ basketball coach and he’s no stranger to the team. Dr. Janice Epperson, Liberty Technology Magnet High School principal, has promoted assistant coach Cordero Wade to the top spot.

Welcome to Jackson, Tennessee! Home of Blue Suede Shoes, Rockabilly and great barbecue! Also, Jackson is home to the Jackson-Madison County School System. In 2016, our Jackson-Madison County Schools are home to over 13,000 students that speak over 17 languages from very diverse backgrounds. Our district is home to nine elementary schools, three K-8 schools, four middle schools, three traditional high schools, one magnet high school and one early college high school.
