Dr. Nathan Lewis

Nathan Lewis was born in West Tennessee and has spent his entire life in this area. He graduated from North Side High School in 1999 and then went to Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, TN. He served as a youth minister for several years and then began his career in education. Principal Lewis worked at Dyer County High School and in an alternative school setting. He has worked in the JMCSS as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, and principal. This is his second year to serve as the principal of Jackson Central-Merry Early College High. He has a beautiful wife, Lisa and a daughter, Lily. He serves on the Nicaragua Christian School Board, Gibson County Commission, and is currently finishing his doctoral degree in education at Freed-Hardeman University. Principal Lewis is so proud of the staff and students at JCM-ECH. He enjoys watching students attain their goals and challenging them to be productive citizens.
