Welcome to Lincoln Elementary School. Lincoln is home to approximately 420 Pre-K through Fifth Grade scholars. Our staff is dedicated to ensuring every scholar is challenged daily to reach their highest level of social, emotional and academic development. This year our scholars will participate in character education initiatives, Common Core skills, use of data to track learning patterns, rigorous classroom instruction, along with exciting and challenging enrichment opportunities.
The teachers and staff at Lincoln are eager and excited about the opportunity to make a difference in our world ahead. It is important for everyone to feel welcomed and excited about being a part of Lincoln Elementary School. It is this attitude that will enable us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, fun, and nurturing environment.
School Day InformationOur school day begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. School doors open for students at 7:55 p.m. No one is available to supervise children before 7:55 a.m. or after 3:30 p.m. Therefore, no student should be left on school property prior to 7:55 a.m. or after 3:30 p.m. There will be no early dismissal after 3:00 p.m.
Dress Code
All students, Pre-K through Fifth grades are required to adhere to the JMCSS dress code policy. Students are required to wear royal blue, black, or white polo-style shirts with collars and khaki, navy blue, or black bottoms. A black or brown belt is required for all clothes with belt loops for students in 1st - 5th grades. Coats, jackets, or sweaters worn inside the building must be solid black, navy blue, or white and must not have a hood. There are no guidelines for coats worn outside the building.
