This educational philosophy is based on her uncompromising belief that all students deserve a positive learning environment, strong and knowledgeable leadership, a committed educational team, an encouraging community, and a supportive system with high expectations and accountability.

By working collaboratively with students, teachers, parents, and other stakeholders, she is invested in efforts to help reform education and shape future generations for a better community. Her servant leadership style helps to cultivate leadership among teachers and students through guidance, support, and encouragement. She is committed to ensuring every graduate is college, career, or military ready and well-prepared for the future.

Principal Ballard is a proud product of Jackson-Madison County Schools and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from Tennessee State University and a Master’s of Education in Educational Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University.
