Welcome to Liberty's Media Center page

The Liberty Technology Magnet High School Media Center now has over 11,500 titles in our collection. These include books, eBooks, database volumes, DVD and VHS titles, CDs, CD-ROMs, and audiotapes. We also support our faculty with a professional collection as well as equipment such as DVD and VHS recorders and players, digital cameras, multimedia projectors, laptop computers, camcorders, audio cassette players, dictionaries on rolling carts, and large screen monitors. 

We currently hold subscriptions to several online databases which assist our students with research. We also subscribe to 10 periodicals, the Jackson Sun and USA Today newspapers, as well as maintain a periodical archive which can be utilized for research. 

There are 19 computer stations in our media center in addition to two OPAC stations (these access our computerized cart catalog system). Each of the computers has the ability to print to either a networked black and white or color laser printer. We also maintain a separate computer lab containing 30 student stations, a teacher/presenter station, a network laser printer, and a Promethean Board. This lab is connected to the media center and is utilized by students, teachers, and administration.
