Mr. Chad Guthrie
Mr. Guthrie has been with the district 17 years. He began his career with JMCSS as a science teacher at Northeast Middle School and has also taught at North Parkway Middle and East Intermediate. He also served three years as Elementary Supervisor and was assistant principal at Tigrett Middle School and Madison Academic High School.
Mr. Guthrie earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology from Union University, his Master Degree in Instruction and Curriculum from Freed-Hardeman University and his Educational Specialist Degree in Administration and Supervision from Union University.
While serving as assistant principal at Madison Academic, the school earned the 2014 National Blue Ribbon Award and was named a Reward School for five consecutive years.
He is a graduate of the National Institute for School Leadership, a participant in the College and Career Readiness Institute, the Administrators Technology Academy and has served on the state ACT Committee.
