• All About Rose Hill School Library

The Rose Hill School Library is a place for more than just books; it is a place where students and faculty may explore more fully classroom subjects that they find interesting, expand their imaginations through leisure reading, and investigate topics of educational interest on the Internet. It is also the home of our Library Makerspace, where teachers can check out STEM kits and materials to use in class, and where students can explore robotics and design thinking.

A wide selection of materials, selected to meet the needs of all students and faculty from a diversity of backgrounds, is available in the R.H.S. Library.

The goal of our library is to prepare students for lifelong learning, informed decision-making, a love of reading, and the use of information technologies.

All materials must be checked out at the library's circulation desk.  Students may borrow two books at a time for a two-week period.  Books are expected to be returned, undamaged, on time, or renewed.  Lost books will result in replacement charges.  Damaged books will result in replacement charges if repair is impossible.  Records and report cards are held at the end of the school year, or when transferring out of our school, if lost books are not returned or fines are not paid.

When requested by faculty, library books and STEM materials may be placed on reserve, so that all students have equal access to assigned materials.

Students and faculty may ask to reserve books that are in circulation and to order appropriate books and materials to be added to the R.H.S. Library collection.
